⚐ Red flags to ask about

  • Non-compete > 20 miles or 2 years
  • RVU conversion factor that can change at "sole discretion"
  • Tail coverage that you pay on departure ($10–30K+)
  • Production-only comp with no base guarantee year 1
  • Quality metrics that are undefined or outside your control
  • No admin / charting time built into FTE
  • Signing bonus clawback longer than contract term
  • Missing or vague language around partnership track
